The results of the Optometrist Licensure Exam for October 2022 have been released. View the list of passers and top 10 on this page.
The Board of Optometry held its Optometrist Licensure Examination in Manila last October 2022, and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 179 out of 285 candidates passed. According to PRC Resolution No. 1584 from October 20, 2022 and Board Resolution No. 05 from November 7, 2022, the examination results for four (4) examinees were withheld.
The Chairman of the Board of Optometry, Dr. Bernardita A. Garcia, and the Members, Drs. Mario T. Flores, Jr., Irene Christine C. Pelio, and Christine S. Rodriguez, administered the licensing test.
In four (4) working days after the last day of the exam, the results were made public.
Online registration will be available for the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration on December 9 and December 12–13, 2022. Please follow the instructions for first registration on the official PRC website. A completed Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, a notice of admission (for identification purposes only), two passport-sized photos (colored with a white background and a complete name tag), two sets of documentary stamps, and one small brown envelope must all be brought while registering. Successful examinees should sign themselves in on the Roster of Registered Professionals and personally register there.
The time and location of the event when the new examinees who passed the test will be sworn in will be announced later, the PRC added.
