The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has provided a mobile app available for Filipinos who want to register to vote. Here's how to download.
Comelec Commissioner Marlon Cascuejo told media entities earlier that the app is set to be launched on Tuesday, June 15, in Tagum City, Davao Del Norte.
He said that the Comelec registration app can be accessed on any smartphone even without an internet connection.
To download the Comelec registration app, click here. This will redirect you to the installation file which was uploaded on the Media Fire website.
Please take note that the Comelec Registration Mobile App is available for Android devices only.
It can be used to submit personal information necessary in voter registration. Once the user fills out the form in the app, a QR code will be generated and saved in the photo gallery.
The QR code must be scanned in the Comelec office, along with the taking of biometrics, to complete the registration process.
