The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has posted the 2021-2022 schedule of the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).
In a resolution, the regulatory body decided that the previously postponed LEPT will be conducted in 4 batches to split the large number of examinees.
Based on available data, the teachers board exam has the largest number of takers. It is therefore necessary to maintain physical distancing during the conduct of the test to prevent spreading of the deadly coronavirus disease.
The 2021-2022 LEPT schedules are as follows, pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 1363, series of 2021:
- 1st Batch - September 26, 2021
- 2nd Batch - January 30, 2022
- 3rd Batch - March 27, 2022
- 4th Batch - June 26, 2022
Takers whose applications were already processed and paid for and have received their Notice of Admission (NOA) shall be automatically included in the list of examinees, the resolution stated.
To verify whether their names are included in the list, applicants can view the room assignments to be posted on the PRC website 1 month prior to the scheduled exams.
Those who are not included in the list based on the schedule may contact the regional office where they applied for confirmation and inclusion in the list.
The LEPT 2021-2022 application system has been closed for additional applications, the PRC added.
