Public warned against websites, Facebook pages posing as PRC

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has warned the public against several websites and Facebook pages posing or acting as them.

In a notice posted on its official website, the regulatory body revealed the following sites:

  • https://www.facebook.com/Philippine-Board-Exam-Results-111736658886758/
  • www.boardexamresultsph
  • https://www.facebook.com/examresult
  • www.prcpassers.com
  • https://www.facebook.com/PRC-Board-and-Licensure-Exam-Results-407038286024259/
  • www.prcboard.com
  • https://www.facebook.com/PRCBoard/
  • https://www.pinoymoneytalk.com/prcgov/
  • https://www.facebook.com/prcgovexamresult/

Such websites and Facebook pages representing as PRC's official website/Facebook page by using their logo, "are not, in any way, connected to or is duly authorized by PRC," the notice read.

"PRC therefore is not accountable for the accuracy, veracity, or content of any information provided or appearing from the said sources as they are not officially published by the PRC."

"Further, PRC is not responsible for, and expressly disclaims all liability for damages of any kind arising out of use, reference to, or reliance on any information contained within these sites," it added.

Some netizens suggested that the list should be formally submitted by the PRC to the PNP Anti-Cyber Crime Division or NBI for appropriate action.
