Duterte drug protectors list includes judge who died 8 years ago?

President Rodrigo Duterte's list of drug protectors includes a judge who died more than 8 years ago, a netizen complained on social media.

Facebook user Ma. Cristina Piczon Tabao, said to be a die-hard supporter of former interior secretary and losing presidential candidate Mar Roxas, brought the issue to public's attention after the President announced early Sunday morning the names of judges, politicians, and police who are linked to the illegal drug trade.

"Paano napasama sa shoot-to-kill order ni PDuts ang isang judge na walong taon nang patay? Anyare sa statement ni PDuts na 'These names have been validated and re-validated,' eh hanep naman pala ang intel reports ng pangulo. Lista ng lista, turo ng turo, pagkatapos ng photo-ops, palalayain naman kasi walang kasong naisampa," Tabao posted.

She also posted a link to a news story on PhilStar.com to support her statement.

According to the article, Judge Roberto Navidad of the Calbayog City Regional Trial Court (RTC) branch 32, who was 69-year-old at the time, died on the spot after being shot by an unidentified gunman on January 14, 2008.

Navidad bought medicine from a drugstore and was about to start the engine of his black Nissan Patrol when the lone suspect shot the judge dead at around 7:10 p.m. that day.

Was the Roxas supporter right in her statement that President Duterte committed a mistake this time by naming a judge who was already dead? What's your take on this?
