Miss Universe first runner-up Ariadna Gutierrez of Colombia will star in Vin Diesel's upcoming action movie "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage."
The 22-year-old beauty queen plays the actor's love interest, PEOPLE reported.
She joins Samuel L. Jackson, Toni Collette, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, Orange Is the New Black's Ruby Rose and The Vampire Diaries Nina Dobrev as well as UFC featherweight champion Connor McGregor and international martial arts star Donnie Yen in the cast.
Entertainment website TMZ reported that Gutierrez flew to the Dominican Republic last March 1 to film her scenes.
"xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" will be Miss Colombia 2015's first movie role.
The film is set to hit theaters in 2017.
Gutierrez became very popular after she was mistakenly announced as the Miss Universe 2015 winner by the pageant host, Steve Harvey.
