Harry Potter's Professor Snape Alan Rickman dies of cancer

Alan Rickman, or Professor Severus Snape for most millenials, died at the age of 69 after he lost his battle with cancer.

Alan Rickman was born and raised in Acton State, West London. He performed in both classical and modern theater productions.

He had several nominations as Best Supporting Actor to which he won the award portraying Sheriff George of Nottingham.

He received a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for TV as Grigori Rasputin in Rasputin (1991).

He will be remembered in films such as the "Harry Potter" movie series, "Truly, Madly, Deeply," "Sense and Sensibility," and many more.

Alan Rickman lived a colorful life in theater, he also lived an amazing life with his family until his last breath.
