The 58-year-old comedian-actor and television host named Miss Colombia as the winner, but as Ariadna Gutierrez was blowing kisses and waving to the audience, he walked on stage and said "Folks, I have to apologize. The first runner-up is Colombia."

The camera then focused on Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach, who was shocked.

"Miss Universe 2015," Harvey continued, "is Philippines."

As the two beauties were standing in the middle of the stage, the host said "Folks let me take control of this. This is exactly what's on the card" and then showed the results to the camera.

"I will take responsibility for this, it was my mistake. I can show it to you right here, the first runner-up is Colombia," he added. "It's my mistake. Still a great night. Please don't hold it against the ladies."

It was an awkward moment for Harvey and a devastating night for Miss Colombia.
