Cayetano's brother calls out Rappler over producer's tweets

Ren Cayetano, brother of vice presidential candidate Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, called out Rappler over the tweets of one of its producers.

Using his Twitter account @renrencc, Cayetano posted screenshots of tweets from Marguerite de Leon, social media producer for Rappler.

"Alan Peter Cayetano, the face you just want to kick," de Leon tweeted on November 29 during the "MAD for Change" concert held at McKinley West in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, where Sen. Cayetano and his presidential running mate, Davao City Mayor Rody Duterte, appeared together for the first time as tandem.

Rappler provided a live stream feed of the event via its YouTube channel.

After Duterte kissed a female supporter who posed for a selfie with him, de Leon tweeted: "P*tang inang yan." She attached a photo of Duterte kissing a woman on stage.

At one point during his speech, Duterte talked about his girlfriends and the experiences that come with their relationships. De Leon then tweeted:

"Duterte admits he's a major womanizer. He asks the crowd if they'd still vote for him. The crowd cheers. #GoodbyePhilippines"

De Leon's other tweets which were not included in the screenshots are as follows:

Rappler chief executive officer Maria Ressa responded to Cayetano's tweet after over an hour and said, "Thanks for bringing to our attention. We'll take appropriate action."
