Netizens outraged over RR Enriquez' remark on breastfeeding in public

Model and television personality RR Enriquez has been criticized by mothers and netizens online for her remarks on breastfeeding in public.

Using her private Instagram account, the 29-year-old dancer-turned TV host stated her opinion regarding an incident that took place at one of the branches of Marshalls, an American department store, which involved Karina Gomez, a breastfeeding mother.

Gomez in a Facebook post complained that she was denied to breastfeed in a dressing room and instead directed to a bathroom stall to breastfeed her baby.

Marshalls already apologized for her unfortunate experience and clarified that they have put in place a policy that "instructs Associates to allow customers to breastfeed as they choose within stores."

Enriquez said she feels sorry for Gomez and went on to say that there is a cover (probably referring to nursing covers) that moms can use while breastfeeding in public places such as restaurants.

What angered moms and netizens, apparently, is that Enriquez voiced out that she hates seeing women who do not observe the proper way of feeding their babies in public.

Here's a screenshot of her post on IG followed by viral open letters from two mothers who were affected by it — first from the wife of a certain William Ragrag and another from one Ann Francisco:
