The province became a trending topic on Twitter after ABS-CBN's primetime newscast aired Thursday a report about minors being abducted there.
According to the report, four children have been missing in Batangas for five days already.
The victims were identified as Robin Cabral, 14; Jerome Claveria, 12; Mica Recto, 11; and Romar Manalo, 12.
Witnesses said Cabral and the three others were taken and forced into a van in separate occasions.
Parents are now more cautious and are fetching their children at school, the report added.
Some Batangueños made an appeal on Twitter for Duterte, mayor of one of the safest places in the world, to visit their province and help the authorities address the problem.
Here are some of the tweets:

What does it mean? Why are people seeking Duterte's help? It's simply because they trust and need him more than anyone else.
