Vester Flanagan aka Bryce Williams kills self after shooting journalists [+video]

Vester Lee Flanagan II, also known as Bryce Williams, reportedly killed himself after shooting WDBJ journalists Alison Parker and Adam Ward.

Authorities in Virginia said the suspect, who was a reporter for the TV station until he got fired in 2013 for "odd behavior," turned a gun on himself as police were closing in during a manhunt operation.

Prior to committing suicide, he uploaded a first person/point of view video taken when he shot the reporter and cameraman.

The violent video was immediately taken down after being uploaded on social media. However, it was grabbed and reposted by various news sites and Facebook pages and is currently circulating online.

Parker and Ward died while Vicki Gardner, the woman they were interviewing, was shot but is in stable condition following surgery.

Reports said investigators are trying to figure out Flanagan's motive for the deadly attack on the news crew based on the gathered pieces of evidence including the uploaded videos.

The gunman was described as a "disgruntled" ex-reporter who "couldn't take criticisms." The day he was fired from his job, the TV station had to request for police detail to ensure that their employees were safe.
