The 24-year-old performed her own rendition of "Speak Softly Love," theme song from the movie "The Godfather," during the fifth episode of the reality-based Asian talent search on Thursday, April 9.

In a brief interview with Foster, she introduced herself as Gerphil Geraldine Flores and said she sings classical and crossover music.

The Grammy-winning record producer and his co-judges, former Spice Girls member Melanie C, Indonesian superstar Anggun, and ex-F4 member and Taiwanese actor-pop singer Vaness Wu, as well as the studio audience, gave Flores a standing ovation.

Flores got four nods and most importantly the Golden Buzzer after everyone in the audience convinced Foster to push it.

On YouTube, the show captioned the video of her performance with: "We thought he might never do it, but FINALLY…David Foster hits the #GoldenBuzzer! David finds what he was looking for in the angelic singing voice of Gerphil G. Flores - and it was well worth the wait!"

Flores, who joined Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) more than four years ago but was eliminated, is the second act from the Philippines to have earned the Golden Buzzer on Asia's Got Talent.

Last week, Anggun pushed it for the shadow play group and online sensation El Gamma Penumbra.
