Viral photos show chopped dog meat being cooked

A collage of photos that show chopped dog meat being cooked is making rounds on social media. Angry netizens want the uploader punished.

The images were reportedly spotted on the timeline of a certain Augusto "AJ" Juguilon, whose Facebook profile states that he's from Pozorrubio, Pangasinan and lives in Imus, Cavite.

Apparently, AJ has removed the photos but netizens were able to capture a screenshot which was posted on the Facebook page called "We are Proud Guardians of Aspins & Puspins" last Monday, February 9.

The group quoted provisions of the Animal Welfare Act (RA 8485 as amended by RA10631) that read:

The killing of any animal other than farm animals is likewise hereby declared unlawful"

(1) Imprisonment of one (1) year and six (6) months and one (1) day to two (2) years and/or a fine not exceeding One hundred thousand pesos (P100,000.00) if the animal subjected to cruelty, maltreatment or neglect dies;"

It's quiet obvious that the group is furious over AJ's act. It added:

NAMING & SHAMING YOU Augusto Juguilon!

Some commenters on the page said they have confronted AJ through private messaging. It appears, however, that the suspected dog killer wasn't bothered at all.
