Female cop cuts hair short to seek justice for fallen SAF men

To seek justice for the death of her fallen comrades and show sympathy for their families, a female police officer had cut her hair short.

Our source of the photo on Facebook did not provide much details, but we stumbled upon a story on Inquirer.net with relative information.

On Friday, thousands of cops across the country marched for justice for the 44 members of the Special Action Force (SAF) who died during a fatal encounter with elements of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) in Maguindanao.

Nineteen police senior inspectors in the Bicol region shaved their heads to show sympathy with the bereaved families of their three batchmates from Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) class of 2009, who perished in their bloody mission last Sunday.

Their female batchmate, Senior Insp. Sheena Guzman, also cut her hair close to the scalp, the report said. The lady chief of police of Canaman town in Camarines Sur told the reporter that she felt like "losing a beloved family member."

Her batchmates reportedly cried for justice and called the Mamasapano incident a "massacre."

Everyone knows that a woman's hair is her crowning glory. But what this lady officer did to her hair in honor of the 44 fallen heroes was just too moving. She became more beautiful than ever. Justice for the 44! #Fallen44
