Photos that show trash thrown at the sidewalk plants in Bonifacio Global City made rounds on social media and has sparked outrage online.
A disappointed netizen named Frances Estrada Arcadio posted the pictures last December 10 with the following description:
Infront of JP Morgan bldg.
Saka magrereklamo kapag binaha.
(Infront of JPMorgan building.
New flowers called coffee cups and cigarette butts have grown.
Planted by smartly-dressed, english-speaking, and apparently intelligent people who do not have concern for the environment.
Yet they complain when there's flood.
It's sad to think that they also do not care for the fellow who maintains the cleanliness in the area.)
Arcadio's FB friends quickly gave the unpleasant scene a thumbs down.
