Photos of actress Anne Curtis and her boyfriend Erwan Heussaff apparently kissing at a private beach resort are making rounds on Facebook.
According to a status message that has flooded Facebook newsfeeds recently, the pictures were taken using "long range cameras." A link to an alleged stolen video of the two is attached to the first comment after each post.
Because the photos look intriguing, netizens and showbiz-oriented Facebook users would be tempted to click the link. Once clicked, the user will be brought to a software installation page.
It's a deceitful way cybercriminals use to lure Facebook users and trick them to install malware or virus that may lead to hacking.
In the process, victims could reveal personal information and their infected account will be used to spread the scam further to their social network.
If you happen to encounter a post similar to the one shown in the first photo, immediately report it as spam and don't ever try to click the link.
