Tricycle Bumped by Speeding Bus Catches Fire, 2 Dead (Video)

Two tricyle-riding men were dead on the spot after their vehicle was bumped by a speeding bus and caught fire along a highway in Davao City.

According to Frank Villaroman, head of Davao's Public Safety and Security Command Center, the vehicular accident happened at exactly 2:38 p.m. on Friday, October 10, in front of the Task Force Davao check point in Sirawan, Toril District.

The victims were "thrown out dead from their pedicab, which caught fire when bumped by an over-speeding Metro Shuttle bus" bound for Malita, Davao Occidental, Villaroman said in his Facebook post.

The accident was captured on CCTv camera. There were no reports of injuries on the part of the bus passengers.

An investigation to determine the real cause of the road mishap is underway.
