PMA Entrance Exam 2014: Schedule, Requirements and How to Apply

The Philippine Military Academy Entrance Exam (PMAEE) 2014 is set on August 3. Here's the schedule, requirements, and how to apply.

Qualifications to become a PMA Cadet, as posted on the academy's website:
  • Natural Born Filipino Citizen.
  • Physically fit and of good moral character.
  • Single and has never been married.
  • Must pass the PMA Entrance Examination.
  • No Administrative / Criminal Case.
  • At least High School Graduate.
  • Height Requirement for both Male and Female is 5 feet (not to exceed 6'4" for both).
  • At least 17 years old but not a day older than a 22 years on April 1 of the year following the date of examination taken.
The PMA notes that applicants younger than 17 years old but/or/and at least 16 years old on April 1 following the date of examination may apply for cadetship provided that the applicant possesses the above-mentioned qualifications. Should the applicant pass the qualifying exam, the procedure in handling underage applicants will apply.

Both the manual and online submission of application are scheduled on July 25, 2014.

The PMAEE measures the mental ability of applicants in the areas of Math (Algebra and Geometry), English (Grammar, Composition, and Reading and Comprehension) and Abstract Reasoning which is called SPMA (Verbal and Numerical Reasoning and Pattern Analysis), the academy added.
