Filipino professionals can ride the MRT 3 for free on June 16, 2014, thanks to the Professional Regulation Commission and DOTC.
The free ride will be provided as part of the Professional Consciousness Week celebration. In an announcement posted on its website, the PRC said it is exclusive to registered Filipino professionals only.
On that day, the MRT 3 free ride will be valid from 7 to 10 AM and from 5 to 8 PM, the agency added.

They will have to present their valid and updated PRC IDs at the MRT3 Guards stationed at the service gate before being issued boarding passes. Upon arrival at their destination, registered Filipino professionals shall surrender their boarding passes to the guards at the service gate before exit.
