Four-division world champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire is set to lock horns with the undisputed World Boxing Association featherweight world champion Simpiwe “V12″ Vetyeka at the Cotai Arena in Macao, China on Saturday, May 31, 2014.
Donaire (32-2, 20 KOs) will attempt to take the title away from Vetyeka (26-2, 16 KOs) in the main event of "Featherweight Fury" to become a five-division world champ like Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao and undefeated American champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
The title fight will be televised on HBO same day in the US. In the Philippines, SkyCable will show the match live via pay-per-view. A live stream of all undercard bouts will be available on www.toprank.tv during fight night.
According to the ABS-CBN Sports Facebook page, a documentary titled "Flash and Fire" will be aired on ABS-CBN @SportsAndAction channel 23 at 12 noon on May 31 which will be followed by The Primer at 1pm.
