Top Blogs Philippines, an online directory of Filipino blogs, has been listed by Google as a "suspicious" site which "may harm your computer."

The current listing status for, according to the search engine's safe browsing diagnostic page, is that the site "was listed for suspicious activity 52 times over the past 90 days."

When Google visited and tested 240 pages of Top Blogs Philippines for ninety days, 113 pages "resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent."

It "appeared to function as an intermediary for the infection of 7 sites," Google stated.

Tens of thousands of Filipino blogs had the Top Blogs Philippines widget installed. As of noontime Monday, some bloggers complained that their sites have become inaccessible using the Google Chrome web browser.
