The PBA All Star 2014 Slam Dunk kings are Meralco’s Rey Guevarra and San Mig Coffee’s Justin Melton. Check out the full replay video.
According to a report on Inquirer.net, Guevarra admitted that he couldn't execute his between the legs dunk during practice but "felt an adrenaline rush during the warm ups." He garnered 79 points.
Meanwhile, Melton gained the same total score after making a two-handed slam despite being the shortest among this year's competitors. Media likened the coffee mixer to Spudd Webb, the five-foot-seven former NBA star.
The report said having co-champions is a first time in the history of the PBA slam dunk contest.
