As of 11pm, state forecasters said Tropical Storm Domeng has maintained its strength as it continues to move in a west Northwest direction.

Domeng has been spotted at 920 kilometers East of Davao City with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 15 kph.

On its Facebook page, the weather agency said thunderstorm is affecting portions of Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte and nearby areas which may persist for 1-2 hours. Light to moderate rains over Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Bukidnon, NorthCotabato and nearby areas which may persist for 1 hour.

The weather agency said estimated rainfall amount is from 5 to 15 millimeters per hour (moderate to heavy) within the 400-km diameter of Bagyong Domeng.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, strong winds, lightning and possible flash floods, PAGASA added.
