Lance Raymundo is set to undergo surgical reconstruction after his face was crushed during a freak gym accident last Wednesday.
According to ABS-CBN News, the singer-actor sustained multiple facial bone fractures. His middle face and nose were damaged.
His mom Nina told the news provider that an 80-pound barbell fell on Lance.
She reportedly said her son will undergo two major reconstructive facial procedures. The first one was tentatively set on Tuesday, March 25 and the next approximately 2-3 weeks after.
Doctors assured the mother, who hopes that those who go to the gym would practice extra precaution to prevent the unfortunate incident from happening again, that the face of Lance Raymundo will be 100% restored.

The person who was assisting him on his workout accidentally dislodged the barbel on top of Lance's face when he leaned forward. Luckily, with God's grace, his skull and his neck were spared as injuring those two parts would have been fatal.
