Brian The Dog To Resurrect On 'Family Guy' (Brian Griffin Update)

“Family Guy” fans rejoice! Brian the dog is said to be coming back from the dead. The well-loved Brian Griffin is set to resurrect soon.

Entertainment Weekly reports the animated comedy show mulls on bringing the talking dog back from the dead come December 15, just in time for the holidays.

The episode for Brian the dog’s resurrection titled “Christmas Guy” will be about Stewie devising “a master plan to get the one and only thing he wants for Christmas,” says the report.

“Family Guy” killed Brian Griffin during the 6th episode of the 12th season, “Life of Brian,” which aired November 24 on Fox. The smart and famous animal died after it was hit by a car.

Fans criticized the plot twist at a massive scale and swiftly launched an online petition on Change.org to protest Brian Griffin’s death. Two weeks later, the petition garnered over 128,000 signatures from supporters.

It’s not known whether or not “Family Guy” producers are forced to bring Brian the dog back to life following the online outrage.
