Reports said the Team Rios vs Team Pacquiao fight took place at the Venetian hotel boxing gym before noontime on November 20, three days before the boxers’ match in Macau, China.

According to online news sources, Rios’ camp reserved the gym for two hours from 9 to 11am, but started with the training late after the Mexican fighter’s interview with ESPN.

When Team Pacquiao arrived, Roach reportedly approached Garcia and told them to leave, but the latter insisted they have thirty minutes more to train. Roach said their time was up, but Garcia and company refused to leave.

The two trainers started to utter harsh words against each other. Pacquiao’s former conditioning coach Alex Ariza later joined the altercation and mocked the Parkinson’s Disease of Freddie Roach.

A viral video from Rappler.com shows Pacquiao’s coach being kicked on his chest while walking towards Ariza, who later said he did it to Roach for “self defense” because the American trainer had put up a fist.

The Filipino boxing icon was not present when the Team Pacquiao vs Team Rios fight at the gym broke out.
