Miss Universe 2013 organizers declared Friday the Philippines’ Ariella Arida as the ultimate “Ice Princess” in the glam shoot in Moscow.
The Filipina beauty queen topped the list of fifteen candidates who excelled in the winter-themed photo shoot. Spain was 1st runner-up, followed by Great Britain, South Africa, and Australia as the second, third, and fourth runners up, respectively.
The bets of Poland, Venezuela, Netherlands, Ecuador, Romania, Ukraine, Brazil, Russia, Croatia and Turkey were also among the “Ice Princesses”.
Last week, Australian website International Business Times mentioned Arida as one of the top favorites in the event.
“In this glamshot, Arida transformed from her exotic sultry look into a high class fashion model. From her frizzy mane to her pout and down to her skin stone, Ara Arida is a force to be reckoned with as she can transform from different looks as long as she wishes. She’s now major favorite for the crown and if she continues to wow the judges, she could be the next to wear the Nexus crown,” reporter Riza Ornos wrote.
Arida’s success in the early stages of the competition is boosting her chances of winning the Miss Universe 2013 title.
