In a phone patch interview, the veteran anchor revealed she’s currently busy taping a special report about the aftermath of Super Typhoon Yolanda for her top-rating weekly magazine show “Rated K.”

The controversial radio announcer, newscaster and program host said the supposed 2-week suspension isn’t at all true and is mere speculation.

“Kasi Jasmine, maraming espekulasyon kung bakit wala ako sa studio last week. Yung mga espekulasyon, hindi naman totoo ‘yan,” said Korina, who reportedly went to several typhoon-hit areas including Ormoc, Capiz, Iloilo, and Palawan.

The alleged Korina Sanchez suspension circulated on blogs and social networking sites after it was noticed that she was absent on her radio and television programs the past few days.

There were speculations that she got suspended for hitting Cooper who reported about the miserable situation in the disaster-hit city of Tacloban last week.
