Mitoy Yonting Wins The Voice PH (Fearless Forecast)

Mitoy Yonting of Pangasinan will win ABS-CBN’s reality singing competition “The Voice of the Philippines.” We may be wrong, but that’s our fearless forecast.

Mitoy Yonting

We saw Mitoy’s performance last Sunday, September 1. Instinct tells us he’s going to be the first “The Voice of the Philippines” winner.

Why? Obviously he’s got the voice.

Mitoy is awesome, confident on stage, can connect with the audience effortlessly, can bring the house down during performances, and apparently the only male contestant who can put up a show and belt a song out in lieu of Jed Madela. He’s got a strong following too.

In the past, our fearless forecast about KZ Tandingan becoming the X Factor winner came true. We also supported and blogged about singing champs Jovit Baldivino, Marcelito Pomoy, and Angeline Quinto, when they were still hopefuls.

This time, Mitoy is our bet.

Of course it’s still a long way to go and there are other strong contenders, among them Team Apl’s Janice Javier and Thor, and Radha, also from Team Lea Salonga like Mitoy. These artists will surely do their best to excel and the challenge will push the excitement, and the competition in general, even further.

We expect that “The Voice of the Philippines” grand finals will be “a battle of pros.”
