Sarangani congressman and boxing icon Manny Pacquiao had no choice but to take the MRT after heavy rains stalled traffic along EDSA.
ABS-CBN promotions assistant Jonathan Ventura broke the news in a tweet.
“Boxing champ and congressman Manny Pacquiao on his way to ABS-CBN via MRT due to heavy traffic, for tonight’s fellowship,” said Ventura in his Twitter account @jnthn_vntr.
Twitter user @ALIANNEAGCAOILI also posted that she was infront of Pacquiao when the fighting lawmaker took the MRT.
The news made its way on national television right before the primetime Kapamilya program “TV Patrol” wrapped up Tuesday night.
Reports said the traffic jam at EDSA and other roads in Quezon City was due to flooding caused by heavy rains that poured in the afternoon.
