When singing, Carly Rae Jepsen is 99% pitch perfect. In baseball, she’s a strong contender of the title for the worst first pitch ever.

Jepsen was the special guest during Sunday night’s Tampa Bay Rays home game against Houston Astros in a Major League Baseball event.

The 27-year-old “Call Me Maybe” singer did something wrong when she released the ball.

As shown in the following viral video, it did not cross home plate but “slowly rolled across the first-base line before hitting a camera” as PEOPLE Magazine puts it.

Jepsen took the embarassing moment lightly. She just laughed, threw her hands in the air like a winner, and enjoyed everything that happened that evening.

Carly Rae Jepsen even proudly shared photos of her terrible first pitch on Instragram and captioned it with “A before and after. Me taking the mound. Me knocking the camera out of the photographers hands with the baseball. And me getting a sympathy hug from the catcher. Omg.”

Despite the terrible toss, the home team won the match 5-0.
