Bagyong Jolina has maintained its strength and is now outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), weather bureau PAGASA reports.
As of 4pm Wednesday, July 31, 2013, Bagyong Jolina was spotted at 530 kilometers West of Subic, Zambales with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. It is forecast to move Northwest at 11 kph.
No public storm warning signal has been raised so far.
Weather forecasters said Jolina will continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon which will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over MIMAROPA and OVER the provinces of Bataan, Zambales, Batangas and Cavite.
Meanwhile, A Low Pressure Area (LPA) was spotted at 130 km East of Virac,Catanduanes, PAGASA added.
