Roxas said the fatalities were Salvador Natividad, Marlon Bandola, and Jeffrey Umali.

According to reports, the victims were passing the road on board an Abenson delivery van when the explosion occurred in one of the condo units at Two Serendra in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

Five people were also injured including an occupant of Unit 501, Angelito San Juan, who’s currently given intensive care at the St. Lukes Medical Center.

Ayala Land president Tony Aquino reportedly said San Juan was on his way out of the unit when the blast took place. Aquino said they will fully cooperate with authorities in the investigation.

Roxas said a forensic examination is being undertaken to determine what caused the blast. He said the Bonifacio Global City is open, but urged the public not to go to McKinley Parkway road.

A follow-up presscon regarding the Serendra explosion is expected later today or tomorrow.
