Bagyong Fabian Update, June 2013 | PAGASA Weather Report

Bagyong Fabian is now out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), state weather bureau PAGASA reported.

At 4 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2013, the center of Bagyong Fabian was spotted at 340 kilometers West of Laoag, Ilocos Norte with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center. It is forecast to move North Northwest at 11 kph.

So far, no public storm warning signals have been raised.

Weather experts said the estimated rainfall amount is from 5 to 15 millimeters per hour (moderate to heavy) within the 300-km diameter of the Tropical Depression.

Bagyong Fabian has no direct effect to any part of the country. However, it will enhance the Southwest Monsoon which will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over the western section of Luzon particularly Palawan, PAGASA added.
