Bagyong Dante Update | Tropical Depression Dante PAGASA weather report

Tropical Depression “Dante” has maintained its strength as it moves north northeastward, weather bureau PAGASA said.

As of 4pm Saturday, June 8, 2013, Dante was spotted at 730 kilometers East of Casiguran, Aurora with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center. It is forecast to move Northeast at 11 kph.

No public storm warning signal has been raised so far.

According to weather experts, the estimated rainfall amount is from 5 to 15 millimeters per hour (moderate to heavy) within the 300-km diameter of Bagyong Dante.

The tropical depression is still far to directly affect any part of the country. However, it will enhance the Southwest windflow that will bring rains and thunderstorms over Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, PAGASA added.
