Vanilla Ice Goes Amish On DIY

Vanilla Ice Goes Amish is set to debut on the DIY network this year. The upcoming reality show starring the 90’s rap icon is said to be currently in production.

A report by The Wrap on Yahoo! OMG! tells us that Burton Jablin, president of Scripps Networks Interactive’s Home Category, broke the news Tuesday during a presentation of its 2013 programs to sponsors, advertisers, and media.

“With no frills, no music and no power tools, Vanilla Ice lives and learns from the best craftsmen in the business – the Amish” was how the announcement describes the “Ice Ice Baby” rapper’s role in the new unscripted series.

The network executive said the 45-year-old rap artist turned reality TV star will settle down with members of the Amish community in Ohio and learn their way of life, focusing on construction work and to provide help on their projects, reports CP Entertainment.

Will Vanilla Ice Goes Amish become a hit? Probably.
