Marian Rivera's transfer to ABS-CBN possible

Marian Rivera’s transfer to ABS-CBN may happen after her GMA-7 contract expires in August 2013, specially now that she’s free to make a career move.

Reports said the Kapuso star has cut ties with Popoy Caritativo, her manager of seven years, due to working relationship issues.

Her career is now under the management of showbiz veteran Tony Tuviera, reports ABS-CBN News.

Tuviera is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Television and Production Exponents, Inc. (TAPE) and the man behind the long-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga,” rival of ABS-CBN’s lunchtime program “It’s Showtime.”

Marian is one of GMA-7’s most bankable stars and the network is expected to negotiate a contract renewal, but the Kapamilya network can surely match their offer with something better.

Her change of management, Marian reportedly said, allows her to “freely and independently decide on her career.” The primetime queen restricted herself to speak about plans, but hinted that she is open to work with another network.

She’s probably crossing her fingers on which ship to jump after GMA-7, but Marian Rivera’s transfer to ABS-CBN is likely to happen.
