Kathy Griffin cancelled: Bravo canceled talk show, says host

Kathy Griffin says her talk show was cancelled. The actress and comedienne announced Friday night that Bravo canceled “Kathy” after two seasons.

While performing a standup comedy act in Cincinnati, Ohio, Griffin told the audience that there’s no more season 3 for her late-night show as it would not be renewed by the network.

“Kathy” debuted on April 19 last year and aired Thursdays at 10 p.m. on Bravo. After getting renewed, the show had a second season premiere on January 10, 2013. It aired live on the same timeslot, but was later moved to 11:30 p.m. in mid-season.

The cancellation of the show has been confirmed in recent reports, but it wasn’t entirely bad news. Rumor has it that Griffin is already filming a new show on CNN with Anderson Cooper, her co-host on the network’s New Year’s Eve specials.

Her fans won’t be cheerless after all.
