Two die while skydiving in Florida made it to the top news items over the weekend. Reports said the unidentified skydivers were Iceland nationals.
Killed in the deadly action sport Saturday were an instructor and a student whose personal details were undisclosed pending the respective families’ knowledge of their tragic demise.
The Tampa Tribune reports that the fatalities were part of a group of 22 skydivers who exited an aircraft above Zephyrhills, a city in Pasco County.
Emergency responders started to search the area when only 20 parachuters returned to earth safely. The bodies of the two men were reportedly found a few hours later.
