At the opening of the second-half, Stephan Schrock didn’t waste time and scored at the 46th minute to continue the Azkals’ momentum.

Rains started to fall hard, adding more pressure on Cambodia as time was winding down. However, the heavy downpour didn’t stop PatiƱo from making another goal at the 57th minute. It was his second international goal.

The game was suspended for thirty minutes due to the extraordinary rain flooding the football pitch. Game officials decided to suspend the game for another 30 minutes as the downpour and flooding persist.

After more than an hour and after some floodwaters on the field have subsided, the referee made a drop-ball to restart the play.

Phil scored his fourth goal for the game at the 86th minute to equalize the output of Turkmenistan, the strongest contender in the group. A minute later, Carli de Murga scored the Azkals’ eighth goal, putting the team at the top of Group E standings.
