According to Integrated Corporate Communications head Bong Osorio, ABS-CBN said that upon her return from vacation, Kris will continue shooting the action-drama series “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw” and stay as “Pilipinas Got Talent” (PGT) judge. Her temporary absence does not affect her daily morning talk show “Kris TV” as it already had taped advanced episodes.

The following is ABS-CBN’s statement on the “Queen of All Media”:

Ms. Kris Aquino and her kids are going on an earlier planned vacation starting today, March 23.

Upon her return, Kris will fulfill her commitments to her soap “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw,” which is nearing its end. She will also have to stay as a judge in “Pilipinas Got Talent” till its end on June. Being a foreign franchise, there are commitments we have to fulfill and rules we need to abide by.

Kris TV had taped advanced episodes in anticipation of her long planned vacation with her sons.

Ms. Kris aquino and ABS-CBN management are also scheduled to meet upon her return to Manila.

Meanwhile, we wish Kris and her sons a peaceful and restful vacation. We respect her need for privacy at this difficult time.

The Kapamilya star announced Thursday that she is tendering her resignation from her ABS-CBN shows and explained that she’s quitting showbiz for the welfare of her 5-year-old son Bimby.

The stunning announcement came amid her spat with ex-husband James Yap, who allegedly made sexual advances on her in December last year and purportedly inflicted psychological harm on their child.

Kris and her sons Bimby and Josh are reportedly flying to Paris on March 23 for a break, the duration of which was undisclosed.

James filed a Hold Departure Order against his ex-wife before the Makati regional trial court, but his petition was junked.
