ShareThis announced Tuesday that it has made CopyNShare available to all publishers. CopyNShare is a widget feature that allows you to measure text and address URL copy-and-shares on your website or blog.
It adds a special #hashtag at the end of your address bar URL to keep track of where your content is being shared online, be it on social networking sites Facebook or Twitter to emails.
“When a user copies text within your site, a “See more: yourURL.com#SThashtag” will appear after the pasted text,” ShareThis explained in a blog post.
Example:
Those who have been using the widget need not do anything. ShareThis said the feature will be automatically activated. New publishers can get the new feature in step 3 in the Get Sharing Tools flow.
