Guard Pregnant By Cop Killer Gets Charged

Nancy Gonzalez, a prison guard at a federal jail in Brooklyn, got pregnant by a cop killer, Ronell Wilson. She has been charged with sexual abuse for having an intimate relationship with the inmate.

The convicted murderer used to be in the death row for killing two undercover New York City police officers in 2003, but is currently awaiting retrial after the death penalty decision was overturned in an appeal. Wilson’s defense lawyers argued that he should not receive capital punishment due to a low IQ.

According to The New York Times, federal prosecutors said Gonzales and Wilson’s love affair “went on for more than four months last year in plain view of other inmates.” The female guard is now eight months pregnant.

In one of the recorded phone calls, Gonzales admitted she “took a chance” because she was “so vulnerable and wanted to be loved,” adding “why not give him a child as far as giving him some kind of hope.”

The pregnant jailguard was reportedly arrested at her residence in Huntington. If convicted, Gonzales will face 15 years in prison.
