Google Maps features "seaview" of Philippines' underwater spots

Through a collaboration with The Catlin Seaview Survey, Google Maps now displays “seaview” photos of underwater scenes which include the Philippines.

Google Maps said they are striving “to provide people around the globe with the most comprehensive, accurate and usable map of the world - including the underwater world.”

The collection, it said, “includes six of the world’s most incredible underwater spots, including coral reefs (and their inhabitants) in Australia, the Philippines and Hawaii.”

The imagery is available through the Street View feature of Google Maps and in maps.google.com/ocean.
