Cebu Dancing Inmates' Gangnam Style Video

The world famous Cebu Dancing Inmates have performed Saturday, September 29, their own version of Psy’s Korean Pop hit music video, “Gangnam Style.”

According to YouTube user Ryan Christopher who published the video, at least one thousand inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) participated for the number.

The Cebu Dancing Inmates first became popular in 2007 when they performed the zombie dance in the music video of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” The original video has over 51 million hits on YouTube as of this posting.

Meanwhile, “Gangnam Style,” recognized on September 20 by Guinness World Records as the “Most Liked Video in YouTube History,” has more than 324 million views on the video-sharing site as of September 30.
