MMDA hiring paramedics, nurses

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is hiring paramedics and nurses who will be deployed to traffic accident-prone areas in Metro Manila.


According to MMDA spokesperson Maria Dorotan, job applicants must not be over 35 years old and has knowledge/experience in handling emergency cases.

She said they can still submit their credentials at the MMDA office. The selection process takes place on Thursday, July 5.

Nursing graduates may also apply, Dorotan said.

Successful applicants will be trained and get paid according to experience.

They will be assigned to mobile emergency teams to be deployed in EDSA and C5 Road among other accident hotspots within the metro.

The MMDA posted on Twitter that those who wish to be hired as rescue/paramedics personnel may go directly to the 3rd floor, MMDA Main Building, EDSA corner Orense St. Guadalupe Nuevo, Makati City.

Applicants should bring their resume, TOR, NBI Clearance, accomplished Personnel Data Sheet (available at MMDA), Diploma, and other relevant documents.
