Bagyong Ferdie update as of July 21, 2012

Tropical Depression Ferdie (Bagyong Ferdie) continues to move away from the country and is already out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), state weather bureau PAGASA reported on Saturday, July 21, 2012.

At 10:00 p.m. today, the center of Bagyong Ferdie was spotted 350 kilometers West Northwest of Laoag City with maximum winds of 55 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 15 kph.

All Public Storm Warning Signals have been lowered.

However, the weather agency advised fishing boats and other small seacrafts not to venture out into the western seaboard of Luzon due to the combined effect of the tropical depression and the Southwest Monsoon.

This is the final update on Bagyong Ferdie.
