Mick Pennisi Flop Becomes Laughing-Stock (Video)

Mick Pennisi’s flop during a Philippine Basketball Association game on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, has become an object of laughter among basketball commentators and fans.

As Barako’s Pennisi and Petron’s Will McDonald’s battle for position down low got very physical, the latter lost his temper, took the ball off a rebound and threw it on Pennisi’s head.

Pennisi had a delayed reaction, waited for a second and down he went. McDonald was given a flagrant foul and ejected from the game.

The Barako Bulls took advantage of McDonald’s ejection and eventually won, 94-80, over Petron Blaze Boosters.

After the game, Pennisi jokingly said, “I think I’m going into acting after my PBA career is over.”

Pennisi said he’s happy his flop made people laugh.

“I was embarrassed, but when you look at it, you just gotta laugh. As long as what happened makes people laugh, then I’m happy,” he added.
