According to state weather agency PAGASA, Bagyong Ramon threatens Eastern Visayas and Northeastern Mindanao. In fact, as of 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, six areas were already placed under Public Storm Warning Signal No. 2; 17 areas are under Signal No.1.
Based on the Department of Education's policy, classes in the kindergarten/primary level are automatically suspended if Storm Signal No. 1 is up.
If there's Signal No. 2, automatic suspension of classes in kinder, elementary and high school is imposed.
Signal No. 3 means classes in all levels including college and post graduate studies are automatically suspended.
